At Mission Metabolic Health, Dr. Cassleman takes the time to understand your unique goals, whether they are focused on weight loss, chronic disease management, aesthetics, or overall health optimization.

2. How does Mission Metabolic Health monitor and support my progress?

Throughout your time with us, we offer frequent check-ins and meetings to track your physical and metabolic progress. We analyze lab trends and health metrics and adjust your plan as necessary to ensure your goals are met. You’ll have unparalleled access to both the physician and trainer to guide you every step of the way.

3. How does Mission Metabolic Health manage weight loss medications like GLP-1s?

For those using GLP-1 medications (such as semaglutide, tirzepetide, or liraglutide), we ensure the medication is properly titrated, side effects are managed, and your progress aligns with long-term health goals. This hands-on approach is crucial to optimizing outcomes and minimizing risks.

4. Are your plans tailored to individual needs?

Yes, our medical recommendations, nutritional plans, and training regimens are highly personalized. We consider medical conditions, nutritional knowledge, cultural preferences, religious dietary restrictions, physical ability, and orthopedic concerns to create a plan that works for you.

5. Do I still need a Primary Care Physician (PCP) if I join Mission Metabolic Health?

Yes, having a PCP remains essential. While your PCP handles routine screenings, acute care, and vaccinations, Mission Metabolic Health adds a specialized layer of care focused on metabolic optimization, advanced health metrics, personalized diet and exercise plans, and cutting-edge interventions. We also communicate and collaborate with your PCP to integrate your overall health goals.

6. What types of health metrics does Mission Metabolic Health monitor?

We track a wide range of health metrics, including cholesterol markers, diabetes and insulin resistance assays, uric acid, hepatic labs, cardio/respiratory capacity, body composition, and continuous glucose monitoring. This comprehensive monitoring allows us to detect trends and make proactive adjustments to your plan.

7. How do you address sleep optimization?

Sleep is a critical component of health. We work with patients to optimize sleep and may test for obstructive sleep apnea when appropriate. Addressing sleep issues can enhance overall metabolic performance and improve your health span.

8. Are the programs covered by insurance?

Our programs are not covered by insurance but if we order and labs or imaging, often times these will be covered. We also take HSA and FSA plans for payment.

8. What if my insurance doesn’t cover weight loss medications?

If your insurance company is unwilling to cover weight loss medications, we can help. We work with insurance providers to secure coverage whenever possible, and if not, we offer safe, effective, and affordable alternatives.

9. What makes Mission Metabolic Health’s executive physicals different from a standard check-up?

Our executive physicals provide an in-depth analysis of your overall health, including advanced testing for cardiovascular health, metabolic function, cancer screenings, genetic testing, and more. This comprehensive assessment allows us to detect potential health risks early and create a proactive plan for long-term health optimization.

10. How does Mission Metabolic Health support longevity and health span?

Our longevity services aim to extend not just your lifespan but your health span—the years of life spent in good health. By focusing on early detection, prevention of age-related diseases, lifestyle modifications, and personalized medical guidance, we help you live leaner, longer, and better.

11. How does Mission Metabolic Health complement traditional healthcare?
